Kairi's Windwave (Finished)

Type of Weapon: Keyblade

Primary/Secondary: Primary (she is trying to improve her ability to use it, after all.)

Description: The guard is formed of blue waves on one side and brown sands on the other; the pommel and the edge of the handle are wrapped in gold. The handle itself is wrapped with slate blue cord and there is a red and gold tassel hanging from it. The sand flows up the blade to form flowers at the tip.

Elemental Alignment: Light

Ability/Function: As a Keyblade it has the normally expected abilities of Keyblades, the ability to lock and unlock doors and boxes and the ability to dissipate and reappear at need.

However, this particular Keyblade has a further ability. When Kairi slashes through the air at an opponent, it creates a crescent-shaped blade of light that streaks towards her opponent, traveling in a straight line for no further than 20 feet to strike and inflict light-based damage.

Close/long range: Close range

History: Kairi's Keyblade was a gift to her from her friend Riku, who formed it from his own memories of their childhood together in the Destiny Islands. He gave her the Keyblade, and the ability to use it, as a means of defending herself. Since then she has started training with it in the hopes to be able to stand beside her friends on equal terms.
