Appearance: Bastion's black hair hangs down into his face, covering his sea-blue eyes. He wears blacks, whites and greys for the most part but on odd occasions he wears a small article that is brightly colored. He always wears black boots that strap up to his calves. His pants are usually black as well,they look as though they have been torn and re-patched over and over. He wears button up shirts gray black or white depending on his mood. He wears a charcoal black fedora that compared to the rest of his outfit is immaculate. He is 5'11", thin and carries a straight cane. His pale complexion usually gives him a ghostly demeanor.

Personality: Bastion is diagnosed with multiple personalities, schizophrenic tendencies, and is known to show psychotic behavior at times. Different than most MPs, Bastion is always Bastion, he doesn't suddenly become a woman named Susan from Southbeach who loves to gamble and carries a frilly umbrella. No he is always the same person. Just different versions of himself.

Weapons: For the most part, Bastion carries a sword inside of his straight cane, but he also carries a bag of tricks that can have negative or positive effects, the funniest includes pulling a rubber chicken from the bag.

Fighting Style: Bastion's fighting style is much like his personality, it can change at any moment. Though it's usually short range, he likes to get up close and personal with everyone. Unless he becomes withdrawn, in which case he tends to lean towards long range, but his usually upbeat attitude keeps him from doing this often.

Alignment: Most definitely neutral, he hasn't any reason to align himself with good or evil, he doesn't know the difference.

Affinities: His balloon animals are TO DIE FOR....um...*cough*...*cough*....yes well his clown like antics set people chuckling, when he's in a good mood anyways. Angry clowns tend to put people off. His acrobatic high flying style gives him fluid movement as well as agility. Now you see him*poof* now you don't.

Weaknesses: Bastion's MPs can cause him to become confused at times. He has been known to stop in the middle of a battle and begin arguing with himself, though obviously this can sometimes confuse an opponent to his advantage, it is mostly bad for him. He has the scars to prove it. His slight figure makes him fast, it also makes him weaker. He must make up for it with speed. He can also be very clumsy.

History: Not much is known about Bastion's life before Halloween Town, he appeared one day barely a day over two years old. His parent's had left him in a strange place and hoped he would remain safe. Three days later they washed up on the banks of a large river. Yet he lived.

His young life in Halloween town was rather uneventful, though he did learn to trick and treat. Something he would use later in life, to trick those who treated him bad and to treat those who had been good to him. Many of the citizens treated him like family and taught him how to fend for himself, and every year he would participate in the Halloween festivities. He particularly enjoyed hanging from trees waving a cleaver. He would soon grow out of pranking the normal people of the world.

He grew into a young man, pale and skinny. His mind fragile since childhood, became more so as he went through life without many friends and without family to call his own. He thought of himself as alone and afraid without the love and happiness that everyone around him seemed to be able to afford generously. It only made him depressed and angry, and soon he began to push everyone away

The friends he made soon left him or died after the heartless began attacking. Unable to protect those he befriended, Bastion exiled himself. He kept to himself, muttering and laughing at odd moments. and eventually he began to have elaborate conversations with himself. His mind had finally broken. Fragile as it was, the strain was too much for him.

He walked into the middle of a tidal wave of Heartless and they crashed down upon him. He fought them for a time, but eventually he allowed them to take him.

He woke up without a clue. It took him days to remember who he was and where he was. The only difference was that voices echoed in his head, different voices struggling for control. He had also been turned to a Nobody, though he couldn't even begin to understand what that meant.
